COMMUNITIES
Built for the Orthodox World.
Every community differs in scale, governance and capacity. What gets built changes with them. The standard it is held to does not.
PARISHES
The largest and most varied group. Many audiences in one place: members, newcomers, parents, visitors, and a calendar that never stops. Simandro builds one presence that serves all of them and keeps it current week by week, so nothing depends on one person remembering.
MONASTERIES
Quieter needs, longer horizons, and pilgrims who must be able to find you. Visiting hours, directions, what to wear and what to expect: the questions a pilgrim asks before setting out. Simandro puts those answers where a pilgrim looks before setting out, and keeps them true as seasons and hours change.
SHRINES
Visitors who arrive knowing little and decide in minutes whether to come. They need to know what the shrine is, why it matters, when it is open and how to reach it, usually from a phone, often already on the road. Simandro makes that first answer easy to find on a phone, kept accurate as things change, and warm enough that the visit feels expected.
GREEK SCHOOLS
Parents comparing options, often on a phone, often at night. They look for classes, ages, schedules and how to enrol, and they decide quickly. Simandro puts those answers in plain view and keeps them current through the year, so a family can decide at eleven at night without having to call.
MINISTRIES
Work that already happens and rarely shows up where people are looking. Food programmes, youth work, visits to the sick and outreach. Each needs a clear page, a way to volunteer and a way to be found. Simandro makes each one findable on its own terms, so the work already being done reaches the people it was meant for, and those willing to help can find it too.
ORTHODOX NONPROFITS
Donors, campaigns and accountability, held together in one place. Supporters need to understand the mission, trust how gifts are used and give without friction. Simandro joins the story, the giving and the reporting into one presence, so a supporter can go from reading to giving without leaving the page.
WHAT DECIDES THE SHAPE
Scale. Governance. Capacity.
SCALE
A community of eighty families and one of eight hundred do not need the same thing. What gets built, and how much of it, follows the size of the community and the people it serves.
GOVERNANCE
Some decisions rest with one person, others with a council. Simandro works the way the community already decides, and never asks it to change how it is governed to fit the work.
CAPACITY
Some communities have someone who can help. Most do not. Simandro assumes nobody has spare time, and is built to keep going when nobody does.
A community is never too small to be found, or too large to be kept current.
A STRONGER TOMORROW
Is This Your Community?
Start with where things stand. A website nobody has touched in years. A calendar that lives in one person's inbox. A listing on Google that still shows the old phone number.
A conversation, and a written summary of the findings. No cost, no obligation.REQUEST A REVIEWA founder-led practice in New York City, working in English and Greek.Or write to Simandro directly at [email protected]
